Chapter 4
Write a letter to the Child Protection Services and explain to them why the Amoses should be removed from the list of Foster Parents. You want to remain anonymous and not let them know you are now on the lam.

Dear Child Protection Services,
ReplyDeleteI would recommend taking the Amos Family off the list of families to take kids for the foster home.
First, Todd Amos stuck his pencil up my nose. After he did that he said "All the other children woke up when I stuck the pencil up halfway. You on the other hand, I got two thirds!" Second, he lied that I hit him continuously. He fell pretending to have an asthma attack, and choked out the words "Look ... he (cough) hit me ... clean on the neck (wheeze)" Third, he made the sheet look like I peed in it. He took the eraser of the pencil that he used to stick up my nose, and put it all over the sheet. It even smelled like pee. The last thing Mrs. Amos did was say "You are going to sleep in the shed, until you can behave yourself." Then, they put me into a shed with fish with metal teeth, a wasp nest that looks like a vampire bat, and is crawling with spiders and centipedes.
Please, come take me out of this home, and not let the Amos family have another foster child ever!
I have seen the Amoses scream and send their foster child to a shack to sleep and their son blames every thin on the child. As a citizen of the Naborhood I want them removed from the foster child list

ReplyDeleteThe Amoses should not be foster parents anymore because they are greedy mean old folk. First off their son is a bully. Once he stuck a Ticonderoga pencil all the way up to N. Then Mr. Amos locked me in a shed with a hornet nest. By the time I came (broke) out I was really swelled up. I hope this gives you enough reason to take them off the list.

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion I think that the Amoses should be removed from the list of foster parents. I say that because they have done things to kids that could KILL the kids including locking them somewhere with hornets nest, nailed closed windows, and blood stains (from the last kid that went in there). A kid has also disappeared in that place before and the Amoses acted like it was an accident. Oh and don’t even get me started on Tod (12 year old kid that in the son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos). Tod is the reason all of those kids were put into the “special place”.
Please write back telling me your opinion.

Dear the head of the Child Protection Services,
ReplyDeleteOne family has given me a horrid experience at their house. Letting them be on the list of Foster Parents is wrong! I think that this family has been cruel to me by not believing me in any way, poking and prodding me, breaking promises that we made when I first came here, and being punished in the most severe ways. This hasn't been a great experience for me and I don't want the Amose family to hurt any other children.

ReplyDeleteThe Amoses should be removed from the list of Foster Parents because they haven't been protecting children properly. For example, they leave kids in the basement, which has vampire bats and a variety of bugs, and the children got injured when they were in the Amoses' basement. Those Amoses also take belongings from children and have been treating children very poorly. That is why the Amoses should be removed from the list of Foster Parents.

Dear Child Protection Services, this is the neighbors of the Amoses and it has came to that you need to take my neighbors off the list for Foster Parents. Why, you ask? Well, recently, I saw their child punching and kicking at that poor child. What was his name? Later, I saw them put him in their shed which personally know that they never clean. They are in for the money, and only for the money. Are you people really going to let children with no guidance get pushed around like this? I forgot to mention that not only did that Amos boy attack the child, but he also shoved a pencil up his nose. To R. The point is, change your mind!!

ReplyDeleteYou should remove the Amoses from the foster home list because they already have a child, and that child shows no respect for other children. Then he lies to the parents so he does not get punished. They make the children sleep in a shed at night with bats and bugs living inside.

ReplyDeleteI have been informed many times of cruelty to kids but I couldn't have caught a bigger fish than the Amoses Family. The Amoses Family is the heart of all uncontrollably bad acts to children.
They have three family members. Mrs. Amoses, Mr. Amoses and their son Tom. Tom is a mean, lying 12 year old who taunts, kicks and punches foster home kids. Mrs. Amoses is a woman who believes Tom's every word and locks kids up in sheds with hornet nets. Mr. Amoses isn't that bad, however he will not go against his wife.
Now I ask the Child Protection Services to remove/ban the Amoses from the list of Foster Parents. It will help dissolve child abuse in the United States.
Please consider this. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteI think the Amoses should be removed from the list of Foster Parents.One of the kids from the orphanage came back 2 days after he got sent to the Amoses and had some hornet stings plus a bit bruises. He said that they made him sleep in a dark shed in their back yard. The Amoses also told him that one kid got stung really bad,amother one got bitten by a vampire bat, and the last one disepeared and left blood stains on the floor. Then he told me that they locked the door and they had fish heads blocking the door so he couldn't get out.So later he said that there was a hornets nest and all the hornets flew out because he accidently hit it and some of them stung him. He tried to get out and forgot that there was two fish heads and his arms went in their mouths so he got a little bit of bruises. Their 12 year old son also stuck a pencil up his nose and when he hit him back Todd the 12 year old boy started beating him up. That's why I think you should take the Amoses off the list of Foster Parents.

ReplyDeleteAll of the children that have visited the Amos family told me they spent the night in the shed, had gotten beat up by their only son, Todd. So we had come to the Amos house to have an inspection on their house and see if they stole the children’s belongings. Instead, we found a gun under their dining room table. Next, we had gone to the shed in the backyard. There was a hornet’s nest in the shed. We had asked them why the children they had volunteered to take care of sleeping in the shed. They had explained they were not aware of this mishap. However, that is still proof that they had not kept a close eye on the child. Then we asked them why they had a gun under their table. Mrs. Amos told us it was for protection and with what’s been happening in these past ten years, god knows when somebody can just break in and steal everything they have. We had replied that it still should not have in plain sight so any child can easily spot it. If you would please listen to our reasoning, we need her removed from the list of foster homes for these orphans to go in. Please spend time to think about this. After all, they did indeed sign a contract saying to always watch the children and never to harm or abuse the children. Therefore, you do have every right to remove her from the list of foster homes and it would be against the law if you aren’t going to do it.
